If you’re into new and undiscovered music you should check out Garageband.com. I’ve been part of the community for years. Basically people do blind reviews of songs, and then charts are compiled for different genres of music. There are several mechanisms and incentives in place to make sure people are participating and doing quality reviews.

Anyway, recently I added one of my song’s, Copper, to Garageband.com. It’s been doing pretty well and today, it is the Garageband Track of the Day.

After pouring over hundreds of blog entries on CES, the consensus seems to be that this little thing is the coolest gadget of the year. I’m glad I didn’t buy that new telescope yet, I want this!

And with any happy new year comes new and gently-used resolutions. At our New Year’s party we didn’t get around to sharing our resolutions, actually we never do that, so guess I’ll share them here. Ok, thinking….

Well I actually already quit smoking(wow, over 3 years now?), but I do renew my promise to it take up again once I retire. I’m going to enjoy life to the fullest right to the end. Ok, fine, I’ll start exercising more. I usually am pretty good about running a few times a week during the summer, but in Minnesota during the winter it’s all about our treadmill in the basement. Gets kind of boring, but I’ll see what I can do. Well that was very resolute. Cut back on my drinking? Um, how about, HELL NO!
But one resolution I truly do have is to blog more regularly. Cool I just did one, alright, off to a good start.
I also want to keep Insight Galactic more updated, finish my studio and start my podcast. Are those goals or resolutions? Not sure, but now it’s out there in the world, so I’m screwed.

Well I better save something for the next post if I want to do this more often, i have a limited supply of un-interesting things to talk about.
