Much Deserved and Overdue Props
April 4th, 2005 by hashbrownTo my friend, experimental film-maker Scott Coleman Miller, who won the award for Best Film at the Ann Arbor Film Festival a couple weeks ago for his newest work “Uso Justo”. With a big win under his belt, he’s poised to get even greater exposure in upcoming film festivals. He has a special screening at the Mpls-St. Paul International Film Festival on April 13th, and several festivals have now contacted him requesting his film. I’ve been asking for a web version that I can post for everyone, but so far I just have to enjoy the DVD he burned for me. Its actually a pre-final version, so I’ll be selling that on eBay someday.
I had the opportunity to produce the music for his last piece, Hands Motherlode, that also screened at several festivals. Yep, I’m pretty cool now.
Nice work dude.
