A New Year

January 5th, 2006 by hashbrown

And with any happy new year comes new and gently-used resolutions. At our New Year’s party we didn’t get around to sharing our resolutions, actually we never do that, so guess I’ll share them here. Ok, thinking….

Well I actually already quit smoking(wow, over 3 years now?), but I do renew my promise to it take up again once I retire. I’m going to enjoy life to the fullest right to the end. Ok, fine, I’ll start exercising more. I usually am pretty good about running a few times a week during the summer, but in Minnesota during the winter it’s all about our treadmill in the basement. Gets kind of boring, but I’ll see what I can do. Well that was very resolute. Cut back on my drinking? Um, how about, HELL NO!
But one resolution I truly do have is to blog more regularly. Cool I just did one, alright, off to a good start.
I also want to keep Insight Galactic more updated, finish my studio and start my podcast. Are those goals or resolutions? Not sure, but now it’s out there in the world, so I’m screwed.

Well I better save something for the next post if I want to do this more often, i have a limited supply of un-interesting things to talk about.

So any resolutions you’d like to share? Leave me a comment!

    Nice, baby.

Mine would be to start doing the things I want to do instead of just talking about doing them. Vague and yet all-encompassing, no?

I was thinking to make things easier, you could post your bitchin’ comments from “Yer Fjucking Great” and just let everyone know why, and how, you’re so fjucking great.

    Just an ider…

I’m giving Fjord exclusive use of those comments. I wouldn’t want to cheapen Fjord by purjoring my comments here.
Actually that’s a great idea, thanks.

Well, that’s what I thought when I read ’em, I thought – dang, he could just copy and paste and have an awesome post…then I read your response and I so totally appreciate your artistic integrity. (I think I spelled that wrong…but no matter) Quoting Psycho-killer “Say something once, why say it again.” I’ve always tried to live my life by that line.

Keep up the good work, and know this, If you write more, I’ll read more.
